The beautiful REVONTULI mohair blanket/shawl has been designed by Elina Helenius. Available in several gorgeous colors! 

 

Comfortable and warm REVONTULI-blanket is a blend of mohair and wool. The luxurious blanket is soft because mohair fibers has raised to the surface of the cover. The beautiful sheen of the mohair fiber adds the luxury of the blanket. 

 

This product is made from South-African mohair and New Zeeland wool. Wool is mulesing free and we work only with certified spinning mills. Wool yarns are spun in Europe. All yarns are dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate.

    Woven blanket  - 130cm x 170cm

    Take textile outdoors in fresh air for a while. Mohair blankets need brushing once in a while. Brush the blanket gently with a fabric brush, following the grain of the wool.

    ONLY if blanket is extremely dirty, dry clean or hand wash cold at max. 30°C. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze very gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out.
    Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until half-dry and leave it to dry in an airy space. Never tumble dry. Brush gently.

    Blanket needs a brush every ones in a while, so that it remains beautiful for years.

    Product development, material purchases, programming of looms and design as well as warping, weaving, finishing and fabric inspection is done in Lapua in our own weaving mill in Finland.  Sewing is mainly done in our own subsidiary sewing company in Lithuania or our own weaving mill in Lapua. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Country of origin is Finland.
