Where are your products made?
We work directly with artisans both locally and farther afield, we have artisans making from Cambridge, UK to Vietnam, Africa and Nepal. All our artisans receive a fair wage, good working conditions and support.
Do the artisans receive a fair wage?
Yes they do, all our producers operate independent businesses and set their own prices and wages. We vet any suppliers very carefully to ensure good welfare, fair pay and environmentally friendly practices are used. We want to make a positive impact in the world and need to ensure that their business is ethical. We also work with both producers + suppliers to design and help develop products.
Is your ceramic tableware dishwasher safe / microwave safe?
All of our ceramic tableware can safely be put in the dishwasher and microwave. For more info please refer to individual listing.
Is stoneware suitable for use in oven?
Stoneware is fired at extremely high temperatures, so is heat resistant in a conventional oven, making it a great bakeware. It is not good for use on a stove and not recommended for freezer use either.
