Spring/Summer bright table linen inspired by Liisa Hjelt; the first textile designer of the Lapuan Kankurit company. Nature and vegetation are an endless source of inspiration in jacquard woven textiles. Liisa Hjelt designed the beloved jacquard wall hanging OSMANKÄÄMI in the 70s to create homeliness and bring a piece of nature to many Finnish homes. As Lapuan Kankurit celebrates it's 50th anniversary, the company’s chief designer Elina Helenius wanted to honor Hjelt by doing her own interpretation of the same motives that Liisa channeled in her time.

This 100% ecological linen tablecloth is super absorbent + double woven so feels beautifully heavy. It's practical and beautiful, washes well and keeps for many years. The quality + design in this tablecloth make it a great gift or family heirloom.

Lapuan Kankurit are a special company established in 1917, they weave responsibly, respecting the environment. They take a stand against nature-consuming, short-lived + cheap production. Everything they do is transparent, and their materials can be traced back to source and employees are well supported.
