Delicate and playful at the same time, the Sukari collection reflects a sunshine way of living. Warm, modest tones combine with peach to represent the contrast between boldness and sensitivity. Made with all natural fibers by hand it also is eco-conscious and makes an impact - what a great gift or talking piece for your table right?

From tabletop to eye-catching wall decor it's a must have and also pairs with other wall paintings, bowls or baskets.

These delicately textured and woven bowls were made by groups of women in small cooperatives across rural areas of Uganda in an ethical, fair trade environment. They weave together grass and raffia using a sewing needle to achieve these incredible pieces of art. There is a hand-stitched loop on the back of each basket as ready to hang wall art.

From Swahili, meaning “employment jobs, source of income” KAZI’s mission is to create jobs and markets to alleviate poverty in Africa, empowering artisans to weave a better story for themselves. Baskets, plates + bowls are not only stunning table centrepieces but also do good. Made of organic dyed raffia + sweetgrass, each piece is carefully designed and made. Ideal for keys, masks, fruit, or simply being there themselves as art.

KAZI is currently one of only five companies to carry the Nest Seal of Ethical Handcraft on their Rwanda and Uganda products - the highest standards for assessing artisan homeworker production and supply chains. When you purchase these products, we hope you can feel good knowing everything is made ethically in a home or small workshop.
